Anal Cancer symptoms: Hemorrhoids- went to OB/GYN in Feb complaining of hemorrhoids. Then again in April with pressure she said hemorrhoids. Knew something was wrong so self scheduled with colo rectal doctor.
Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: May 16th colonoscopy - May 17th Path report - Anal cancer - constipation, itchy burning "hemorrhoid type" symptoms then pressure on vaginal wall
Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: 5 FU - through port for 5 days June 6th and again July 5th - survived first dose with severe sore throat, mouth sores and rash. Dreading July 5th
Radiation or Proton Therapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: 32 radiation treatments starting June 6th
